25 August: Local Kingston musician Andre Ernst is a singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, bouzouki, and mandolin. Primally playing and preforming songs in the folk and Celtic genres. Frequently found playing at sessions and small gigs around NY state. Andre began preforming in the Saratoga area in 2002 and since has played all over NY state and even Europe at local sessions, farmers markets, festivals, theater venues, pubs and private home shows. Performing original material, classic Irish and Scottish ballads, sea shanties, contemporary folk, and modern folk songs. He is also a member of Hudson river ceili.
