Sopranos Margaret Tigue, Chelsea Fingal DeSouza, and Maggie McGuire with pianist Tonia Miki present Literacy in Action: A Celebration of Poetry in the Hudson Valley. The concert on November 3rd will offer an afternoon of music celebrating song and literature from a diverse array of creators. This concert is open to people of all ages, and children are especially encouraged to attend. There will be a book drive for new and used children’s books to benefit the Poughkeepsie Branch of the American Association of University Women, and their Leading to Reading program, specifically.
