Based on the true story of a working-class hero, Rachel Feldman's 2024 film Lilly details the extraordinary life of Lilly Ledbetter as she fights the gender-based wage gap, which she ultimately closes with the creation of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009. Featuring Patricia Clarkson as Lilly Ledbetter and Thomas Sadoski as her attorney, Jon Goldfarb, Lilly honors one of the many women in history who's anger and discontent led to significant legislative change. Presented by the Woodstock Film Festival and hosted at the Orpheum Theatre in Saugerties, both Clarkson and Sadoski will be onsite for the screening and available afterwards for a Q&A regarding their experience on set and insights into the significance of Ledbetter's story.
