Lecture - Wiltwyck Cemetery's Titanic Victim: William Gwynne

Join Wiltwyck Cemetery in a lecture focusing on William Gwynne, a worker and victim of the sinking of RMS Titanic, whose cenotaph is here within our grounds on the 112th anniversary of the tragic event. Our presenter, Hannah Speregen, will cover Gwynne's life before the Titanic's sinking, the colleagues he worked with, and what the final moments were like for Gwynne and his fellow Postal Clerks before the ship went down. This lecture will take place within the cemetery where Gwynne's cenotaph is placed on April 13th, 2024, from 1pm - 2pm. Rain Date: April 14th, 2024
