Co-Presented with Jacob's Pillow Dance. Two rising stars make their MASS MoCA debuts in this evening of dynamic and innovative contemporary dance. Katie Workum brings her new piece Black Lakes, a work full of improvisation, risk, and humor. The second half of the program features Bessie Award-winner Kimberly Bartosik’s Exteriority4, part of an evening-length project that constructs a landscape of power and desire to explore violence in American culture today.
