The second iteration of the Jog Blues concert at Magazzino will bring together masters of jazz, blues, and Indian classical music in a 21st-century mix; creating an experience drawing from deep traditions while also swinging towards the future. The band, featuring Abhik Bhai (sitar), Andy Biskin (clarinet, bass clarinet), Jake Charkey (cello), Joel Bluestein (electric guitar), Jonathan Rose (bass, harmonica), Naran Budhkar (tabla), Pheeroan akLaff (drums), and Siddhartha Mukherjee (vocals), is named after the Indian midnight raga and the blues.
