Visiting Artist, JEREMY DENNIS, 'Rise: Scenes of Resistance,' May 17 - June 22, 2025. Artist talk is Saturday, May 17, 3 - 4 pm followed by the opening reception from 5 - 7 pm. ‘Rise’ reflects upon the ongoing subtle fear of Indigenous people in the United States. Fear, in this instance, may come from acknowledging the presence, not of an extinct people, but of sovereign nations who have witnessed and endured the process of colonization for hundreds of years and remain oppressed.
