Italian Surf Academy is a duo led by New York-based guitarist Marco Cappelli and Eyal Maoz who play a blend of spaghetti western, exotica and tex-mex, marinated in vintage Italian sauce. Cappelli, who moved from Italy to New York in 2004, has since combined ancestral, italian folk songs with contemporary, avant-garde electric guitar riffs.
