In this course, we will cover all the basic techniques of watercolor painting. We will explore different papers, brushes and paints. Students will be introduced to and practice creating washes, gradients, textures and color mixing. Students will also learn water and brush control. We will bring all these techniques together to paint objects from life in week four, and a landscape from an image in week five. Supplies will be included but students will be encouraged to purchase their own if they would like to practice at home. Level: Beginner
