In Rose Pearlman's second day of rug hooking workshops, she will go over ways to repurpose clothing to make rug hooking fiber. The class will also explore alternative materials to use with a punch needle and simple tricks to help punch more efficiently. In addition we will go over finishing tips to take a completed punch project and turn it into a functional object. Techniques like whip stitch edges, sewing a backing fabric, and rug care and maintenance. Class size limited to 12.
