In 2011, Vinay began his study with blessings of santoor maestro, Pt. Shivkumar Sharma, under Takahiro Arai and Dhananjay Daithankar. He currently resides at Shanti Mandir, Walden, NY where he continues his studies and performs.
Mir Naqibul Islam is an outstanding tabla student of Pt. Ashoke Paul.
