In the Landscape: Osios - Sculpted Views of the Hudson River Valley

Manitoga presents In the Landscape, a series of informed and inspired walks that reinforce observation and sensory exploration. Explore Manitoga’s landscape as a personal expression of designer Russel Wright during NY State Path Through History weekend. Join Emily Phillips, Manitoga’s Landscape Collection and Preservation Manager, on a 1.5 mile moderate hike of Manitoga's woodland trails, featuring four osios ("beautiful view" in native Algonquin) created by Wright to frame the Hudson River. Space is limited, reservations required. This program was developed with support from Open Space Institute’s Malcolm Gordon Charitable Fund and a Hudson River Valley National Heritage Grant.
