This three hour workshop will guide you through the basics of patchwork on a sewing machine and will help you find inspiration in working improvisationally. No measuring, straight lines, or planning is necessary. Instead, this free-form style infuses play into the sewing process, letting you experiment with color and shape, and respond to each new element as you create. At the end of class, you will walk away with your own patchwork wall hanging, quilt top, or table runner. Students must have some experience sewing and be comfortable using a sewing machine.
