As part of their CLOSE UP series, Upstate Films will be hosting director Ralph Arlyck of I Like It Here to Starr Cinema next week to discuss his critically-acclaimed documentary that centers around ideas of mortality, memories, and time and includes gorgeous shots of the Hudson Valley. Arlyck studied Journalism in New York and San Francisco and started making documentaries during his studies. Arlyck has become a leading light of American independent documentary film. He has produced and directed more than a dozen films that have received awards at festivals worldwide. Arlyck will be onsite for a post-film Q&A.
