People interested in all aspects of sustainability, from all walks of life, joining together for drinks to discuss, debate, learn, and make new friends – that’s the idea behind worldwide phenomenon Green Drinks, and it’s coming to Beacon. Citizen's Climate Lobby will be there to kick off the conversation with a few words about their organization and their bipartisan "carbon fee and dividend" proposal. The proposal puts a fee on the carbon-dioxide content of fossil fuels at the source, and returns the net revenues to every U.S. household.
