Please join us for an afternoon of exquisite harmonies and lively rhythms!
Reena Esmail’s Malhaar: A Requiem for Water brilliantly integrates Hindustani and Western music, with selections from the traditional Latin Requiem, poetry of Wendell Berry and William O’Daly, and Hindi text. It is a soulful plea to treasure and preserve the source of all life.
We will extend the joys of the holiday season a little further with Carols and Lullabies, Spanish songs from a variety of traditions including Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Catalonia reconceived as an integrated suite by Conrad Susa.
