Where do brain anatomy, dollmaking, depression and healing overlap? How to Make a Doll is an interdisciplinary performance blending research, memoir and absurdity. Video, tactile object manipulation, sound and text interplay for a curious exploration of mental health, family and the transformative power of creation in this performance.
This project is made possible with support from WPUL - The Pull, Stamford’s indie freeform radio station, and funds from the Delaware County Arts Grants. This performance is aligned with the #FallofFreedom national celebration of freedom of expression.
