After being named one of The Guardian's "Band of the Week" in 2012 following their performance at the SXSW festival, Geoff Travis—head of Rough Trade Records—offered Houndmouth a recording contract. Their debut 2013 album, From the Hills Below the City, was performed for national audiences on Letterman, Conan, World Cafe, and several major festivals including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Newport Folk Festival. Now, they will be performing material from their most recent album, Good for You, for their Hudson Valley fans at Bearsville Theater in Woodstock this Tuesday.
