Helen Avakian will lead the event and be joined by guitarist Mark Sganga (who along with Avakian is an international fingerstyle guitar champion), DCC Music School teacher and classical guitarist extraordinaire Dan Stevens and saxophone player and international performer Dr. Christopher Brellochs, who is chair of DCC’s Music Performance Certificate program. They will play original pieces and popular songs in many styles, both as soloists and in groups. Additionally, a group of advanced Music School guitar, vocal, bass, ukulele and saxophone students will perform a few songs as the Guitar Party Ensemble.
