We are pleased to host award winning artist Selva Ozelli, who said, “At least 14 million tons of plastic end up in the oceans every year, and plastic makes up 80% of all marine debris found from surface waters to deep-sea sediments. With my art show ‘Healing Waters 2 which will launch ahead of Earth Day at Havre de Grace Maritime Museum, I hope to draw attention to the fact that restoring wetlands and oceans including from plastic pollution is gathering momentum around the world. My Healing Waters 1 will be on exhibit at UNESCO OCEAN DECADE TIDES OF CHANGE
