Before the concert harp was developed in the 18th century, harps have been important instruments in Africa, Europe and Asia for millennia. Harper Julia Haines will present songs and stories from a variety of world harp traditions throughout time. The music will be presented on a variety of folk harps: Llanera, Celtic, Romanesque and West African.
