Groundtone Festival

Lina Lapelytė's Study of Slope seeks to redefine musicality, using untrained musicians in the performance.
PS21 is hosting a four-day music festival with genres ranging from jazz to experimental pop to classical compositions. The all-ages festival has free performances each day. Tickets to other performances can be purchased individually or with a full-day or weekend pass. Performers include experimental group ExoTech, cello performer Julia Kent, and Lina Lapelytė’s choral performance made of self-identified non-musicians. Food and drink will be available.
