At the Fall Equinox, we gather at Widow Jane Mine to descend into the Great Below. Greater Mysteries is an immersive performance-ritual rooted in ancient initiation myths, where music, light, and ritual open a living portal of transformation. Created by Hudson Valley composer Kelli Scarr with an ensemble of extraordinary artists, the work invites participants into the sacred cycle of life, death, and rebirth. In the cave’s vast resonance, sound becomes ceremony, presence becomes offering, and each of us becomes part of a communal rite of passage—witnessing and being witnessed as we return, changed.
