Good Vibes Explosion! Krakauer and Tagg's Square Peg Throwdown

Good Vibes Explosion was conceived and created by clarinet wizard David Krakauer and multi-instrumentalist/producer Kathleen Tagg. The band's influences are global, but the sound they create is uniquely their own. Familiar dance forms like Polka or Square Dance have never sounded like this with hand drumming, electronic beats, positive lyrics, and deep grooves. Krakauer’s klezmer-influenced clarinet leads along with Tagg’s quirky keys, accordion, electronics, electric cello and samples; Martin Shamoonpour’s percussion, jaw harp, and flutes; Jerome Harris’ bass and vocals; rapper/singer Sarah MK’s evocative vocals; and Yoshie Fruchter’s wailing oud, electric guitar, and electronic beats.
