Glen David Andrews is a New Orleans-born trombonist, vocalist, and bandleader rooted in the city’s historic Tremé brass band tradition. Raised amid second-line parades and steeped in jazz, gospel, R&B, funk, and blues, he channels the raw spirit and cultural heritage of his hometown into electrifying performances worldwide. A member of a storied musical family that includes his brother Derrick Tabb (Rebirth Brass Band) and cousin Trombone Shorty, Andrews began touring at 14 and now fronts his own ensemble. His commanding voice, fierce trombone sound, and soulful stage presence blend tradition with contemporary energy, making every show a celebration of New Orleans music and resilience.
