Gillian Welch and David Rawling's Grammy nominated album, Woodland released in August 2024, sending the two on a North American tour. They crafted this folk album as a way to deal with the loss of their studio, Woodland Studios, in Nashville. In 2020 a tornado tore the building apart, along with precious musical materials and memories. Woodland is a comeback album with nods to classic folk of the '60s.
