Prepare to experience High Falls in a completely new way. Led by Robert Titus, this geology walk will explore and explain how advancing and retreating ice-age glaciers shaped much of Columbia County’s landscape through erosion and deposition.
Together, we will go back in time to when glacial ice sculpted scores of small hills in the Western half of the county.
What’s involved: We will be walking about one mile down and back on the Waterfall Way trail, stopping often to talk about the landscape.
