Fugitive Echoes: the Poet’s Journey from Captivity to Freedom

Join tenor Jacob Hunter and pianist Yi-Hsuan Hsia in recital as they explore the inner landscape of the mind of the poet. This recital will feature works by Arnold Schoenberg, Francis Poulenc, Robert Owens, and J.S. Bach. The works of the program span from the early 18th century to the present day—vividly capturing the story of a poet who after conquering their psychological struggle, discovers their passions, yearning, and inner peace.
