Malang Jobarteh is a Kora player from Gambia, Africa, now residing in New York, where he is a popular performer and instructor and has played with numerous musicians such as Boubacar Diebate, Bela Fleck, and Dialy Kounda. Malang will sing, play, and share stories about his heritage, bringing a celebration of his homeland’s music to the library.
