Fred, a Hopewell resident, is a self-taught artist. He has been painting with acrylics since 2000. He also does pencil sketching and working with colored pencils. He enjoys taking and using photographs for reference, but he also uses his imagination for many of his designs. His favorite subject to paint is owls and other birds in landscape settings.
