Acoustic guitar virtuoso Henry Ferland will do a solo performance using fingerstyle skills which combine melodies, bass lines, unique chordal arrangements, and percussion — all at the same time — to create rich and layered guitar music. The show will include songs stylistically ranging from traditional fingerpicking (Chet Atkins, Doc Watson) to contemporary (Tommy Emmanuel, The Beatles, Paul Simon), and elements of jazz in addition to his original compositions. Ferland is a recent graduate of the Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA with a performance degree.
