Based on a novel by Jonathan Safran Foer, the 2011 film tells of a nine-year-old boy’s search for a lock that fits a key he found in the possessions of his father who died in the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center. In collaboration with the English Dept., the post-screening discussion will be led by English Prof. Andrea Laurencell Sheridan.
