Experimental Intaglio

Thursday evening: Oct 12 - 26th, 2023. 3 weeks from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. In this Experimental Intaglio class, participants will learn the fundamentals of etching and aquatint methods along with designated experimental aspects. Participants will gain a working knowledge of the science behind the proper preparation of copper plates, etching, and printing process. This class is for adults and mature teenagers of all skill levels and includes 2 hours a week of open studio time. All materials are included. We believe art should be accessible to all. Financial assistance is available for those that qualify.
