Events Percussia: A NYC Based Ensemble of Percussion, Harp, Flute, and Viola

Faculty percussionist Frank Cassara will be joined by the NYC-based ensemble Percussia. Together they will perform his new work, Broadway Boogie Woogie. Scored for mallet instruments, harp, flute, and viola, this new work, supported by a NYSCA endowment, was inspired by the eponymous painting by Piet Mondrian. Rounding out the program will be recent works by Pedro Giraudo, Tom Nazziola, and Frank London. This event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Vassar Music Department.
