Ereshkigal’s Garden: Green Burial as Sacred Composting

This Green Burial Workshop offers a grounded and mythic exploration of death as a natural, generative process. Facilitated by Ash Scribe, this gathering introduces ecological burial practices while inviting participants to reimagine our relationship to death and the body. Through conversation, reflection, and shared inquiry, we’ll consider how returning to the earth can be an act of care, continuity, and transformation—opening a more conscious, connected approach to death within the cycles of life. This offering is part of the Lesser Mysteries spring cycle within the Greater Mysteries project — an ongoing cycle of seasonal gatherings in the Hudson Valley.
