Emily Arnold McCully presents new YA book on first computer programmer Ada Lovelace, Saturday, March 16, 5-7 p.m. Austerlitz author, illustrator, and winner of the Caldecott Medal, Emily McCully discusses her new book, “Dreaming in Code: Ada Byron Lovelace, Computer Pioneer.” The daughter of Romantic poet Lord Byron, she created what is regarded as the first computer program in the 1800’s.
