This Vassar Library exhibition focuses on an early 20th century arts colony in the Hudson Valley with multiple Vassar connections. Based on a newly acquired collection.
The exhibition was co-curated by William Rhoads, Professor Emeritus of Art History at SUNY New Paltz and Leslie Melvin, Manager of Academic Technology Services at Bard College. Rhoads and Melvin recently co-authored a book on Elverhoj. A brochure with essays, images, and a checklist is available at the exhibition. The exhibition can be viewed during regular Library hours.
