Drawing isn’t magic and it isn’t reserved for the “talented.” It’s a skill you can learn. In this welcoming, beginner-friendly four-week class, you’ll discover how artists actually see and why drawing is more about perception than perfection. Working from observation with objects and still-life setups, you’ll explore time-tested exercises and techniques inspired by artists including Edward Hopper and Georgia O’Keeffe, as well as "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain". You’ll learn to quiet your inner critic, strengthen your observational skills, and build confidence in your ability to draw one line at a time.
