New York Reads: Drawdown is a statewide library effort to bring people together to discuss climate change and the 100 most effective ways to ameliorate its effects. The book, authored by Paul Hawken, offers focused actions that make a real difference. However, participants do not need to read the whole book beforehand in order to join in the dialogue. Sponsored by Red Hook Public Library along with the Red Hook Town Conservation Advisory Council, Bard Office of Sustainability, Bard Center for Environmental Policy and Bard Center for Civic Engagement.
