Thor Badendyck—illustrative contributor Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, WarCraft, Sideshow, and others—suffered from a car crash at the age of 26, leaving him paralyzed from the armpits down. However, he was able to train himself to hold pens, pencils, and paintbrushes with his mouth, allowing him to continue contributing his work to major production companies. His work will be on display at Roost Arts in New Paltz from June 20 to July 13, with an opening reception on June 21.
