Domestic/Landscapes: Prints and Textiles

Dometic/Landscapes is an exhibition featuring the recent work of textile designer and printmaker Kate Sarah Mitchell at the Stephen L. Crohn Gallery in the Saugerties Public Library, January 2 - February 28, 2024. Mitchell’s first medium was textiles and she has a degree in Textile Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. In 2020, at the onset of Covid, without access to her looms, Mitchell started making prints on paper. This exhibit offers up her work since then, with linocuts, woodblock, drypoint, and monoprint complementing some earlier textiles. Gallery hours are same as regular library hours.
