Digger, an aging oil magnate conducts drilling, setting off an ecological disaster. He colludes with U.S. President to allow Digger's company to extract oil in Alaska and Greenland. Despite repeated warnings about methane underneath, Digger proceeds with extraction operations. An explosion dislodges a massive chunk of ice toward Europe. Rather than inform the public, the president and Digger establish an information firewall, gambling that the shelf might drift into the Atlantic Ocean and melt.
