Having been interested in plants since his childhood in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Catskills-based landscape designer and garden writer Dean Riddle finds inspiration in our region’s rocky terrain and topography. In this conversation, he will share his ideas – as well as photographs of gardens he has created over the years -- for approaching a space and creating a landscape that feels personal while being connected to the natural kingdom it inhabits.
