The Woodstock Film Festival presents a screening of Danny Is My Boyfriend. Tightly-wound Lucy has moved back in with her mother after a breakup so bad it landed her in a psych ward. So when her new boyfriend Danny asks her to dogsit while he’s away for his nephew’s non-denominational circumcision party, it feels like proof she’s back on track. Until a stranger recognizes the three-legged dog… as HER boyfriend’s dog. Thrown into a reluctant alliance by the discovery that they’re both dating Danny, Lucy and the stranger – Mechi, a socially awkward babysitter – conspire to get even.
