“Connecticut Tunes and Tales of the Revolution” with Kent Besocke will kick off the library’s summer concert series with the Falls Village Recreation Commission on the library lawn. This unique, hour-long musical program celebrates Connecticut's pivotal role in the American Revolution. Weaving together captivating storytelling with songs, acoustic guitar, 5-string banjo, and mandolin, this engaging program explores Connecticut's rich tapestry of history, folklore, and legendary figures from a tumultuous era, uncovering hidden stories of local heroes and dramatic moments that shaped the fight for freedom. Participants are invited to bring chairs, blankets, food and beverages to enjoy during the concert.
