The Rhythm Rising Quartet is a group of talented Hudson Valley musicians led by Grammy-nominated percussionist Tomas Martin Lopez. They blend Afro-Caribbean rhythms with Latin jazz, Bossa Nova and samba. Hear Victor Catanzaro on vibraphone, Doug Correllus on piano, Ron Figueroa on bass and Lopez on percussion. And, Connie Grossman guests on flute. The band honors traditional Latin jazz legends such as Cal Tjader, Tito Puente, and Mongo Santamaria, showcasing popular standards and original compositions.
