Community Concerts at Calvary Presents: Hot Wrk Ensemble

Calvary Community Concerts is excited to announce: Hot Wrk Ensemble will be here Sunday, February 1st at 3 pm! Hot Wrk Ensemble, a saxophone/woodwind and percussion trio founded in 2020 by award-winning musicians Lois Hicks-Wozniak and Brad Hubbard, is committed to creating community through diverse, genre-eclectic “chamber grooves.” From sonatas to the Black Eyed Peas, with the Beatles in between, they've got it covered! Both questioning and answering: “What is chamber music?,” Hot Wrk explores, deconstructs and “wrks out” concepts of traditional chamber music and the concert experience.
