Comics and Community in the Hudson River Valley
On Wednesday, March 11, the Steel Plant Art Gallery at Marist University will hold an opening reception for "Comics and Community in the Hudson River Valley," which explores the many ways comics and cartooning have been a cultural force in the region. It also describes the comics production that took place at Western Printing in Poughkeepsie. All are welcome to this event, which is free and open to the public. The exhibit will continue at the gallery from March 11-13 and March 23-28.
