Classical Music Concert: Guitar with Eric Roth

Local Classical guitarist Eric Roth will present a program of classical guitar music from the Baroque through the Romantic periods. It will include historically informed interpretations of master works; Eric will also perform his own piece, Passacaglia, composed in 2017,and his own arrangement of Caprice, Op. 7 No. 9, originally written for cello by Auguste Franchomme (1808-1884). Performed on a beautiful, authentic reproduction instrument modeled after one built in 1830.. Information about the instrument, repertoire, composers and history will be provided.
