The Village of Catskill once again celebrates the winter solstice with their fourth annual Catskill Winter Solstice Stroll. Organized by Cultivate Catskill and sponsored by local businesses and organizations. The evening begins at 5PM, with a joyous procession down Main Street, led by Gaia the Earth Goddess and the Green Man, the male Spirit of Nature. They’re accompanied by the dancing Witches Along the Hudson, The
Pokingbrook Morris Dance Team, a fire performer, a stilt walker, jugglers, bell ringers, drummers, ukulele
players and assorted costumed merrymakers.
